Making time for the "Last" day of summer!

The unofficial end to the summer has come and we took it and ran with it! One more day in the sand. I am bragging about this day  because I just didn't want to go but Sam (the red one's husband) said I will take care of everything. I sighed and said "sure you will" and proceeded to help get everything packed up. It was a great day. Sam did it all...carried most everything to the beach and even convinced the boys to "leave mommy alone for a little bit". A little bit was all of 10 minutes but hey at least he tried. Point being is that I could've been grouchy and stayed in my house and on my couch, but no I made time for family and fun and it paid off. Great day,great picture and I actually did get to relax....I even had time to put this down in writing!

Making time for celebrating...with a little calorie burning!

The boys and I made time for celebrating this morning....Fletch slept all night without a pacifier! Huge milestone in the Wright house! Trust me....I wanted to head straight to the ice cream shop but then I realized burning a little energy off would be good for the 2 x 3 year olds I am ruled by.

Making time for friends...for a lifetime!

So what happens when a blonde, a brunette and a redhead get together? I think this picture should tell you!!! It is a hell of a good time! Our crazy crew started out almost 14 years ago when I (the red head) met Devon (the brunette). All of our husbands are best friends and lived together in Wilmington, NC. Then a couple years later Ally (the blonde) joined in on the fun. We have had amazing adventures over the last 14 years(I am certain we will share them all over time) and our crazy crew has grown by 7 (all boys)! Not only are we amazing friends and awesome wives, we are super moms to Parker, Hudson, Tyler, Cooper, Fletcher, Easton, and little man Cannon! We  are coming to you now to hopefully show you how making time for all the important things in your life is worth the effort. Time seems to be the biggest commodity these days. We are all running all the time. The one thing we always tell each other is to take time out for yourself.  At Making Time Mama's we want to highlight how we make time for friends, family, being fit and healthy (most of time with our boys), but most important for ourselves. I think our motivation for this blog is to be accountable for all of those things and to stay connected...it takes a village to raise children and keep you smiling. We welcome all of the visitors to this site to join in this village and share new ideas about how to Make the Time for the important things in life!
